Human Design is the missing link regarding raising and educating children. No psychology degree , attachment parenting approach or alternative schooling methodology alone can honor children enough.
I stumbled upon Human Design just as I was turning 30. For me, that was very auspicious as it relates to my Human Design journey and my 6th line profile. Nonetheless, I began my deprogramming process 17 years ago and with each new reveal from being coached by Nattalee Lillico at alignwithyourdesign.com and from other online resources like, jovianarchive.com, I was both deeply validated and surprised learning about my 3/6 Manifesting Generator, Right Angle Cross of Rulership profile.
Naturally, a few days after the birth of my daughter, I asked Nattalee to do a reading for my daughter. She turned out to be a projector. This is calculated by intersecting the wisdom of the I Ching, Ancient Astrology knowledge, the Hindu Chakra system as well as the time and place of your birth. This integration of modalities I found appealing because as a wellness professional, it quickly became obvious to me that there definitely was no one-size-fits-all approach to experiencing vitality but rather a synthesis of many personal approaches.
The difference between a projector and a generator (my husband and I are both Manifesting Generators) was so stark. Mothering this child was going to call for something else! I could feel it in my bones with my Mother's instinct very intact. A decade later, I am so grateful for having stumbled upon this body of knowledge just in time because most projectors get conditioned to be generators and experience immense invalidation and exhaustion with accompanying health issues trying to be something they are not. I'm afraid, that if I had never been lead to Human Design to more fully appreciate individuality like I do, my husband and I would have made some really irreversible choices in the form of motivation, food, clock-time (schedules), education and so on. Since it has always been my mission to protect individuality and self expression for personal fulfillment and satisfaction so that the whole world can benefit from healthy and happy people, this was exactly the information I needed to integrate into my repertoire of decades of wellness studies and my then, new role of mothering.
